My first blog post of September and I really can't believe that summer is over. I have heard so many people debating on Twitter whether they are sad or happy that summer is ending. I hate to be the person who is so excited for it to be over, summer definitely isn't my season. I burn far too quickly leaving just peeling skin rather than a tan and I never know what to wear. My favourite season is definitely winter, it's when I celebrate my birthday, Halloween which is technically in autumn and how could I not mention Christmas. September however is quite a scary and uncertain month for me this year as I'm starting University. I am constantly thinking about meeting new people which I'm not great at doing and living away from home for the first time.
Over the summer as a lot of you know I started my online shop Wish Designs. It has been a brilliant project for me and I have learnt so much in the limited time that I have been doing it. I want to take this time to thank everyone who has shown interest in my shop, helped promote it or bought a print. I have added two new prints for September which you can see above. As a way to thank everyone I have 10% off today only using the code 'NEWDESIGNS'. I'm not lying when I say when I get an order it truly makes my day. I want to continue growing the business and can't wait to see where it goes.
I have been trying really hard to get on top of blogging and produce some consistent content. I recently have taken so much inspiration from Lily from Pint Sized Beauty who has started to blog daily whilst still working. I really want to be able to consistently post twice a week as it really helps your blog. I have also been reading BKYROUNCEFIELD, Katy Belle and Sophie's Makeup Blog whose blogs I just adore, I always get a little excited when they post something new.
I am currently trying to spend the last two weeks of freedom catching up with some TV, writing some blog posts and taking some photographs which I haven't done in ages. I really want to try and pick up some new photography props to take better photos. I feel that all my photos look the same and I haven't felt motivated or exciting by a photo recently. I will have to search H&M Home for some new bits.
What are you up to this Sunday?
