June has been such a long month. It has been filled with exams, a concert and just relaxing at home. I have become a little obsessed with make up tutorials on Youtube during June but it has actually influenced me to stop applying so much make up and embracing the more natural look, a little less on the skin and eyes embracing my good skin days.
If I'm having a spot free day I will usually just apply a little Seventeen concealer around my nose chin, under eyes and a little on the forehead to highlight. Foundation is something I usually keep light and try to avoid in the summer months as it really doesn't help my skin and can feel so heavy and restrictive. During the summer months I have to powder my face as I have combition skin and my skin seems to be a little more oily when I'm wearing make up. My favourite at the moment is Maybelline's Matte Maker, a light dusting on my T- Zone usually keeps my face matte.
In the past I usually go for quite a dramatic eye look because I can never be bothered with the maintenance of a bold lip but I have been holding back on the bold eye look applying only a little bit of MAC's Cork in my crease and Brown Down on the lid to create a simple and natural smokey eye. This eyeshadow duo is matched with some Collection gel eyeliner and Benefit's They're Real mascara. A mascara which some don't get along with but a mascara that has been in my make up bag for months.
Eyebrow's are something I hate doing and can never get them right but I love Tanya Burr's perfect Brows. I like to only fill them in lightly when I want to be a little more natural and brush them in place using Benefit's Gimme Brow, a brilliant product for when you want a make up free day and still being able to give your brows a little shape and colour.
A product which you will find in my make up bag every month is Benefit's Hoola Bronzer which is perfect for anyone who has pale skin. I always like to keep a natural blusher in my make up bag so it will go with any make up look that I decide on, Rimmel London's addition is by far my favourite. For my lips I usually keep them free of any product but I do love Primark's nude liner's if I want to make a little more effort. Applying a little highlighter is always a good idea and can make your skin look so healthy, making Benefit's High Beam the perfect product.
