When I received the Thread lashes a few weeks ago I couldn't wait to create an eye look and try them out. I have never really been one for eyelashes until a few months ago when I tried them for the first time and I now fully understand anyone who can't go without them. I don't have the best eyelashes and to my horror they fall out a lot more than I wish so when I really want to make an effort with my make up, sometimes the only solution is a good pair of lashes. I love smokey eye looks especially ones that are so easy to create without any fuss or the trouble of using gel of liquid eyeliner which is always a disaster for me. Instead I have created a simple yet, sultry look which really makes your eyes pop.

To keep things simple I only used one palette which is the Zoeva Cocoa Blend, a compact palette with a broad range of shades. The four I selected was Substitute For Love, (a light brown shade used in the crease) Freshly Toasted, ( used all over the lid) Warm Notes ( a cranberry shade which I applied on top of the lid and on the bottom lash line) and Beans are White alone the upper lash line to create a smoky effect.  For my brows I used the Tanya Burr eyebrow palette and Benefit Gimme Brow to keep the shape . To get rid of dark circles and any mistakes I applied the Seventeen concealer in Fair and extra fair to highlight and blended with Beautybay's version of a beauty blender which really creates a flawless finish.

The first eyelashes that I used are Angel* a natural but long lash. As you can see in the images above they look like your lashes but better. These lashes are perfect for anyone who is new to lashes or doesn't like an extremely dramatic lash. I applied the lash using Duo lash glue because I am never a fan of the glue that comes with your lashes.

The second pair which are named Red Cherriare your perfect pair of dramatic lashes. Something that I wouldn't have necessary chosen. Before applying them they did look a little scary and unnatural which I hate in false lashes but once applied I was pleasantly surprised. They looked beautiful on the eyes, perfect if you are getting photo's taken but as expected they were quite heavy for me and a product I don't think I could wear the whole night.

The lashes are beautifully made and could be used on numerous occasions. They are an Irish brand which I haven't heard of before but something I would consider buying again. They also have brow products and other lashes which are only £9, plus they have a luxe range that's planned for release in June. The lashes can be purchased of their website and soon on False eyelashes.

Which eyelashes do you like best?
