26 August 2015

I hate the thought of August being over. It means that my freedom of doing nothing and late mornings is over and I have to return to juggling school work and blogging.  Reflecting on the month of August I have had the chance to try and love some new and old things amongst my stash.

Lush's Oxford Street range - I am not fortunate enough to live near to London so trying their exclusive products is not going to happen anything soon but lucky Lush stores around the UK have begun to stock some of  the Oxford Street's range. I had my eyes on The Experimenter and Intergalactic bath bomb which has the most insane colours once popped into the bath. Both bath bombs have a strong peppermint smell which I'm not that fussed on but it was only a small minor that I was prepared to ignore.

Zoeva Nude Palette- I have owned this palette for nearly a year (which is quite clear to see) and it has only ever featured on my blog once. I love Zoeva brushes and I can confirm that their make up is just as good. The nude palette is perfect for anyone who loves a smokey or simple eye. Most of the shades are matte with a few shimmery shades which don't really have that much shimmer once applied. My next purchase will be one of these gorgeous palettes from the range. The palette is an all rounder and would happily only use this palette from my make up collection.

Q & A 5 Year Book - I have had my eye on this book for a while and I didn't want to wait till next year to start it, so at the beginning of July I ordered one. Since then I have managed to fill it in everyday. The aim of the book is to answer a question everyday for five years and once completed you can compare you answers from the previous year.  I think it is a perfect present and a brilliant way to reflect on how your outlook or views can change in five years of your life.

Paper chase postcard prints - I have a student budget so buying expensive prints is not an option for me. However  Paperchase came to the rescue with their wide selection of cheap postcards which are a great alternative for any print and are only 70p. There are a great mixture of prints on offer from different designers which are perfect for your bedroom wall.

Ikea Plants - I have had quite a few disasters with my plants in the past so I thought it was time that I made a few new purchases. It took me ages to pick some I liked as there is such a huge selection. I was in plant heaven and finally decided to restrain myself from picking more than two. I love plants in my room as it really brings your room to life and there has also been scientific proof that it improves the air that you breath in, plus they also comes in handy when taking blog photos.

What have you been loving this month ?
