MY BLOGGING TOOLS

Like every profession or hobby there is always some form of equipment or tools needed to make it the best it can. Blogging is no different and a huge range of things is needed for me personally to get the most out of blogging not all of which is essential but things I feel make my blog the best it can be. Everyones essentials are probably different or vary slightly but I thought seeing what I personally use could help you or could just be a fun thing to read.

A notebook and pen - if you follow me on Instagram ( cheeky plug ) then you will be fully aware of the amazing Rifle Paper notebook I received for my birthday and something I haven't stopped being able to take photographs of. A notebook I think is probably in every bloggers tools as it really helps you plan future posts or just to take random notes in.

Camera - a camera is a pretty important piece of equipment when it comes to blogging. My camera is my pride and joy and taking photos is something I enjoy doing for this blog so much. I currently own a pretty basic DSLR Nikon D3000 camera with a 35mm f 1.8 lens and I couldn't live without them.

A computer / laptop - it's been over a year since I bought an Apple computer and even though they cost rather a lot it was the best decision I made. They are the best things to work on and I adore the graphics so it's perfect when I'm designing blogs or editing photos. Previous to this I used a regular laptop and it worked perfectly for me when it wasn't broke.

Blue tack - a random one you may think but it's an absolute lifesaver when it comes to taking photographs of circular objects which have a rather annoying habit of rolling around mid photo session. I like to take a small blob of the blue tack and place it on the back of the object and like magic it stays firmly put exactly where you want it.

iPad - I don't have a smart phone so my iPad is literally my life. I use it for blogging on the go or even a Twitter chat. I also love it for editing my Instagram photos which takes a lot of time for me.

So there you have it my blogging tools but the important question is What are your blogging tools ?

  5. For some reason I'd never thought of blue-tack until Lily and Anna mentioned it in a blogging video awhile back. It is such a great tip and I've used it countless times since.

  9. Blue tack is such a lifesaver! I thought I was the only one! Also, do you find that when leaving comments on the ipad, sometimes it freezes and you just can't type anymore? (Happened to me five times while leaving this comment. Gross.)

I also did a post like this recently! I love looking behind the scenes at what other people use. (Here's what I use, if you're curious!)
