5 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR BLOG LOOK LESS BLOGGER

I don't know about you but there are some generic features of the Bloggers platform that I don't love and finding a solution to these problems is sometimes tricky. I have spent many long evening stuck on a computer trying to find ways which I can get rid of these annoying traits.

Photo border - when you first create a blog every time you upload an image it has a rather annoying border around every image. Some may like it but I personally can't stand it. When ever I am designing a blog this is one of the first things I will fix. It is so easy to do but I bet it frustrates a lot of people simply check out this post and follow these steps. Post code into your css box which you can find by clicking template , customise and then add css. Once you click save the horrid borders have disappeared.

Removing the Blogger nav bar - ever come across a blog and it has the blogger nav bar at the top , not only does this interfere with your blog's theme I think it makes your blog lose it's personal feel. The nav bar can be easily removed by simply going to layout and on the top right corner you will see nav bar , click on it and choose the no nav option.

Resize your blog images - do you have to resize your blog photos every time you want to upload a new post? Well a simple css code can make all your images automatically the same size without altering every single photo. All that is required is a simple css code which is available here.

Removing the blogger attribution - I don't know about you but I hate that powered by blogger piece of writing at the bottom of every blog especially when you want to add your own. You will be pleased to learn that it can be removed by a simple HTML code which you can learn how to do on this website.

Adding your own favicon - this is a great way of adding a personal touch to your blog. A favicon is the little logo that you see beside your website address. To make your own all you have to do is create a small square image with your blogs logo or initials on. Then  by going to layout on your blog and clicking favicon on the left hand side of your blog and simply uploading it like an image.

In the past if I have ever wanted to solve something when it came to my blog design I just Googled it. It is very frustrating when you can't find what your looking for but if you stay with it you will find a solution and once you do it's hugely satisfying.

Do you have any tricks to make your blog look less blogger ?
