BEAUTY SWAP WITH PARISIAN TO BE

I always wanted to do a beauty swap with a fellow blogger but after my first one failed and resulted in me sending the parcel but not receiving one back made me be put off by the concept. I contemplated doing one again this year and I wanted to do it with Lillian from Parisian To Be who am sure you all know. I just love her blog and obsession with stationary which I also love. I don't know why but I just trusted Lillian for some reason in buying me things I would love and her impeccable taste too also contributed.

I waited a week to receive Lillian's package and I couldn't contain my excitement when I received it ( I had never been so excited to open a present apart from Christmas.) When I opened the box I was presented with loads of different parcels wrapped in different coloured tissue paper. As you can see above Lillian spoiled me rotten by sending some of her favourites and others which I requested as I really wanted to try some American beauty products out.

Lillian sent me a Wet 'n' Wild eyeshadow Palette , L'oreal Telescopic mascara , Forumla X nail polish, NYX cream blusher stick (which I forgot to photograph as I got too excited) and Alure magazine which I have been loving flicking through. Lillian also sent me a lovely note written on a small piece of paper and I couldn't believe how small and beautiful her writing is especially how she signs her name.

I just want to thank Lillian for agreeing to do the swap with me as when I sent her the initial email I was so scared to send it as I was sure I would be rejected especially since she is such an amazing blogger. I can't wait to try out all the products and I hope she loved her box of goodies.

Have you ever done a beauty swap ?

  2. I've never done a beauty swap but I love the concept, it would be really awesome to do an international one and try products from brands you can't get where you live!

  3. The Wet and Wild palette is stunning! I'm glad your second swap worked out much better! I've never done a swap but I'd love to, but it would have to be with someone I've established some trust and friendship with first to avoid being scammed.
