Eyeshadow sticks have become a craze and every beauty brand has their own version of this wonder product and whilst we all try to blend the product with a brush the waxy trait of the shadow stick doesn't allow it causing the only method that works is the light blending of your finger. Apply the Rimmel London Scandaleyes shadow stick straight from the bullet onto the lid and using your ring finger blend the shadow until you reach the crease creating an easy and effective smokey eye without brush or tool.
Cream products work their best when applied using a warm finger that can melt and blend the product into the face. I use the cream Bourjois cream blusher in 03 by warming the product with my fingers using a simple swirling motion then dabbing off the excess onto the back of my hand and apply to the apples of the cheeks for a natural flushed glow.
A lip stain can be the perfect way to wear lipstick without having to compromise with food or worrying about it getting all over your teeth. Using your fingers you can create a simple lip tint that lasts hours and can be applied / pulled of easier than a full blown bold lip. Simply use your finger to transfer the colour ( Topshop's lipstick in depth) from the bullet to your finger and using dabbing motions apply evenly to your lips leaving a wash of colour to your pout!
Do your fingers come in handy with your make up routine ?
I have the exact same shadow stick from Rimmel, it's a great product to use when you don't have time to be using brushes! Love it.

i agree especially since you can apply it straight from the bulet
DeleteI totally sharr your view on brushes here. I first thought they were some magical thing that makes me look amazing but the cream products are way easier to apply with my fingers. I often use my fingers when I am too lazy to grab my brushes and do the real work.

DeleteI love using cream blushes with my fingertips, and cream shadows! They're so quick and find they're longer lasting for using my fingers too xx
