I love painting my nails which is no surprise really and I paint my nails three to four times a week so that means I am willing to purchase and invest in tools or polishes that can make my manicure easier or better on the eye. One of the most annoying things when painting your nails is the drying time I have managed to cut down the time using my beloved Seche Vite topcoat but I wanted to cut it further because I hate waiting. When I came across the Bourjois Instant Dry drops I thought this could be the way to cut the time on my manicure. I do believe that nail drops are quite an old trick when it comes to nails but I thought this would be the way to get my nails done quicker. I applied my polish like normal base coat, polish, topcoat and then a drop Bourjois Instant Dry.
Instead of improving the drying time I found it made the nail wetter than it was and not letting the Seche Vite topcoat dry with its usual sheen. I also found the nail polish began to slide of the nail causing it to look crumpled before it would dry. When not using the Seche Vite topcoat I used the drops to help dry my base coat and it did work leaving behind an oil residue which aim is to nourish the nail. I don't know whether or not it hasn't worked for me because of the topcoat or the amount of nail polish that I applied.I haven't used it since as if it's not prepared to work along side my Seche Vite topcoat then I don't have no time for that!
Have you tried the Bourjois Instant Dry drops ?
