colour burst matte balms I knew they would be a success. The range has a great selection of colours from nudes to berry shades something in which I found extremely hard to find in drugstore.
The lipstick comes in a crayon form which I had not used a lot before as it was quite thick I thought application would be difficult but it was surprisily very precise and easy. Applying the lipstick feels more like a balm than a matte lipstick so an even courage is guaranteed. I chose three shades as Boots are currently having a 3 for 2 and I couldn't possibly miss out so I picked Elusive , Standout and Shameless. Elusive is the first balm pictured a pinky nude which I think would look better as a glossy finish rather than a matte which I don't think works for my skin tone. Standout is a true red shade which has been compare to Mac's Russian Red this is surprisly my first red shade , it is a universal shade and would suit any skin tone. Lastly is Shameless which is a true purple shade which I adore , as I mentioned this kind of shade is rare among drugstore lip products and is the first one I added to the basket without hesitation.
The overall finish of the lipstick is matte but with a slight moisturising factor which doesn't make it completely matte. I do think this is a wonder product and Revlon have really filled a space in the market which will be a great success.
Have you tried the Revlon Colourburst matte balms ?
