My relationship with eyeliners isn't the best. I envy them professionals who applie their eyeliner in a stroke explaining how practice makes perfect when creating your black flick. We'll believe me I have been practicing for far too long to still not be getting it right. Instead of changing my ways when applying my eyeliner I have been using new tools and products in hope that I may achieve that perfect flick. The easiest form of lining your eye is using a pencil eyeliner , one in which you don't need to fuss on how precise or perfect you line is. I like to pop this on my lash line and adding some black eyeshadow on top then blend it out to create a smokey effect.
Liquid liner can be the best thing to use if you want a simple black line without the difficulty of gel liner. My favourite is the L'Oreal Super liner which has the perfect nip which can create a thick or thin line depending on the style of your eyeliner . This has to be my favourite liner as it helps me create an average slick of black apron my lash line.
The hardest but probably the most effective, gel eyeliner can be a toughie to crack and is best applied using a pencil eyeliner to first mark out the line then resting you arm on a table carefully apply your eyeliner using a brush, I own the Real Techniques eyeliner brush which I don't use very often because as I've mentioned I'm not great at eyeliner and gel eyeliner for me is a step too far.
As much as I love eyeliner I some how think that I will never achieve that perfect line. I guess I should just leave it to the professionals and constantly envy them. It's a hard life in the world of beauty.
Do you have any eyeliner problems ?
